Supporting children where they need it most: Mobile OT Sessions
Our mobile Occupational Therapy sessions bring tailored support directly to your child, whether at home, school, kindy, or daycare, to help them thrive in their most natural environments.
We provide mobile OT services within a 30-minute radius of metropolitan areas and up to 60 minutes for rural regions, ensuring accessibility for families who need flexible, on-the-go therapy options.
Why choose mobile OT?
Mobile sessions offer convenience, allowing your child to receive therapy at a suitable time during their school day, at kindy, or in the comfort of their own home. This approach not only fits seamlessly into your family’s routine but also empowers your child to develop skills in the environments they navigate daily.

Making it Count
Our occupational therapists collaborate closely with teachers, caregivers, and families to maximise every session’s impact. Whether working alongside educators to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom or spending time at home to address key routines, our team ensures every session is personalised, practical, and purposeful.

Where can mobile occupational therapy sessions take place?
How far can OTs travel to provide a mobile session?
In line with NDIS guidelines, our OTs travel within a 30-minute radius of metropolitan areas and up to a 60-minute radius for rural regions to deliver mobile therapy services from our clinic located in Springwood. We aim to make our services as accessible and cost-effective as possible by thoughtfully scheduling sessions. Whenever feasible, we coordinate travel to allow travel fees to be shared between clients in similar locations. This ensures families receive high-quality support while keeping additional costs manageable.
What ages do you support with mobile occupational therapy?
We support children aged 2-17 years, across settings. We work with the parent to find the most suitable option for their child.
Do parents need to be present for home sessions?
Yes, parents are required to be present for home occupational therapy session. Not only is this safest practice, but it allows for parent involvement in therapy and discussion with their child’s OT, so that skills can be more readily transferred to the home environment and ensuring family-centred practice.
