Accessible Care Anywhere: Telehealth OT Services
Our Telehealth OT services provide a flexible and convenient way for families to access high-quality occupational therapy from the comfort of their home. This option is ideal for clients who are outside our travel radius or unable to attend face-to-face sessions, ensuring everyone can benefit from our tailored support.
Telehealth Occupational Therapy
Telehealth OT is a practical solution for families who need accessible therapy options without compromising on quality. Through this service option, we offer telehealth such as parent coaching, consultations, and therapy reviews. This approach allows us to provide targeted support, answer questions, and guide families in implementing effective strategies at home or in their child’s everyday environments.
Our OTs start the OT journey for clients with an initial parent consultation either in-person, online or over the phone.

How does telehealth work?
Telehealth sessions with children provide an opportunity to work on specific developmental goals in an online format. Our therapists incorporate a variety of virtual tools and activities to support engagement and focus during sessions. These sessions can address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, or emotional regulation and often involve collaboration with parents or caregivers to help apply strategies in daily routines.
While remote, Telehealth sessions aim to create a supportive and interactive environment for children. Speak with your child’s treating OT or our team to see if Telehealth may be suitable for your child.
More Info
Is Telehealth a suitable option for every child?
No, some children may find this mode of OT difficult to engage with. It’s important that you discuss this option with your OT, and they will recommend what may be suitable. Our OTs will also evaluate the effectiveness of telehealth for your child and keep you involved for optimal outcomes.
Although telehealth may not be the best service option for every child, it is a fantastic option for parents to have a session with their child’s OT to review goals, discuss strategies and for education or coaching sessions too.
How do telehealth sessions differ from in-person OT?
Telehealth sessions take place predominantly online via phone or video meeting. This will require at home readiness for internet connection, use of materials at home and parent involvement as needed. Before commencing Telehealth sessions, your OT will discuss what resources you have access to at home to help with their intervention planning. The sessions are the same length of ‘face-to-face’ time as a standard in-person OT session.
