Happy Learners staff are able to provide services to clients using their Medicare Plans which offer a part rebate on the cost of a standard session. The two main plans we work under include:
-
Chronic Disease Management Plan (Formerly EPC): Children may be eligible for 5 rebated sessions per calendar year for a chronic condition. A CDM plan is created by a GP and the Medicare item code for Occupational Therapy under this plan is 10958.
-
Medicare Helping Children with Autism: Children between the ages of 7 -13 who have an ASD diagnosis may be eligible for a one time plan of 20 rebated sessions. This plan needs to be created by a Paediatrician and the Medicare item code for Occupational Therapy under this plan is 82025.

Private Health
The rebate given from each health fund will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your health care provider for more information.
